Private Expeditions

Our Private Group Experiences are tailor made trips where you can experience the simplicity and solitude with your family, friends or own group on a journey experiencing the islands and letting go of time. We specialize in making things happen, so climb aboard your own Bangka Boat and enjoy the luxury of a fully provisioned vessel with a professional crew while voyaging the remote archipelago of Northern Palawan.

For Whom is the trip for?

Our Private trips are for families and small or large groups of friends looking for a unique adventure aboard their own boat. There is no upper age limit as long as you have an adventurous attitude and basic ability to swim (we accept any age range as long as you are healthy ,accompanied by able parents for kids, willing to experience something different and ready to get out of your comfort zone!) WARNING: Please be sure and confident that the other people whom you want to invite both from your group and outside of your group or yourself are like you -willing and understands our expeditions. People who believe that the difference between an ordeal and an adventure is one’s attitude.

How big are the groups?

We run the private trips on different sizes of boats. Group numbers can range from 8-20 guests. However if you are less than 8 people you still have to pay the minimum rate that includes 8 people. If you are a smaller group or a couple, then check out our 3day/2night Lalambegan Island Experience or consider joining an Open Group. We accept 1-20 people on our private trips. Additional charges will start on the 9th to the 20th person. If this does not work for you, an Open group expedition is always a nice alternative.

What time of year is good to visit?

Our regular 5day/4night Private Group Experiences run from May to November. There are two main seasons in the Philippines, ‘Amihan’- North East monsoon brings the dry season and it runs from October to May- this is our high season. The ‘Habagat’- South West monsoon brings the rainy season and it runs from June to September, so expect some rainy days if you are travelling during these months. For more information on the weather please read the advice in the travel information section. We run our trips all year round, both during dry season and rainy season. However, dry season is more popular season for both local and international visitors who wish to enjoy the tropical weather of the Philippines. Nevertheless, the rainy season offers a different kind of adventure with its sporadic rains, thunderstorms and even sunny days at times!

However, our standard departure time is 0900H from our office or agreed location in El Nido or Coron and arrival time is 1700H in port of arrival in Coron or El Nido. OUR EXPEDITIONS EXPLORE THE RAW AND REMOTE ISLANDS BETWEEN EL NIDO AND CORON. THEY ARE AWESOME YET THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE! If you are the type who believes what makes a difference between an ordeal from adventure is one’s attitude, then this trip might be for you. This is an Expedition, not a tour… you will camp on islands, you may be bitten by mosquitoes and other insects, you may get wet from the rain while camping or traveling on the boat, boat engines may break down, the seas will not be calm and smooth at all times but your safety will always be prioritized. The expedition may be easy or it may be uncomfortable or even hard sometimes.

Before applying to take part in our expedition you must understand that what we offer is not a tour or a hotel.

Palawan Isles understand that what we do and offer is difficult and can be at times out of the comfort zone of some individuals. A place of the unknown and the unexpected. This is the lifestyle of the men and women of Palawan Isles and as much as they love it, they understand that it is not for everyone. We do not guarantee a nice relaxing time, in fact, we do not guarantee anything. We just provide all the tools to explore this awesome archipelago. & In the end … YOU and your adventurous spirit are the deciding factors!

We highly recommend all travelers must have their own Travel Insurance. Remember that you will be traveling in a remote island. You should get a travel-insurance policy that cover loss and medical problems, missed and Scheduled Airline Failure connection, theft, and dangerous activities.
